SPOTS is a short film of which I am the Director, Script Writer, Storyboarder, Concept Artist, Rigger and Animator.
It is the Thesis for my Animation Bacharel at FAAP concluded in December of 2022 and was distributed through 21 Festivals worldwide.
The script follows Giada recovering from a surgery on her broken legs at a hospital. When tormented by a Monster in her dreams, she's rescued by Brigite and her flying Ray.
During days of sadness and grief for the lost of her father and nights of adventures in her dreams, Giada learns the value of hope, gratitude and courage towards moments out of her control.
The short film has been approved for production in February 2022 and had 8 members as the Director's Crew: Ana Flávia Gaspar Machado (Executive Producer); Bibiana Lauretti (Set Producer); Bruna Lyra (Graphical Editor); Gabriela Gabriel de Carvalho (Animation Director); Karla Bueno (Bible Editor); Raffaele Macarrone (Post-Production Director); Sofia Adelina (Director); and Vivian Ventura Marostica (Line Producer).

BIBLE
CHARACTERS AND RIG
The characters were given a 180° RIG with Deformers and Master Controllers on Toon Boom Harmony by Sofia Adelina and Vivian Ventura.
The Monster has been rigged on After Effects with Duik Bassel to achieve the desired "fizzing" effect of its body.
The RIG test and the animations were made by Gabriela Gabriel, the Animation Director.
